1056 hours
Installation, photography. 2024-2025
Collaboration with Matthew Chung.
1056 Hours is a photographic and installation work developed from 666 images taken over the span of a month—roughly one per hour—as a durational act of intimate documentation.
The photographs were printed as postcards and inserted into a commercial display rack, which was then situated and re-photographed inside a convenience store.
By placing private imagery into a context of public display, the work explores the tension between emotional intimacy, image consumption, and the systems of visibility that govern everyday life.
