Hyde Park Corner
Video, Sound Design. 2023
Collaboration with Matthew Chung.
‘Hyde Park Corner’ unveils the connection between memory and the city. Building on my previous work, "Go to the Park," I delve into the evocative blend of urban landscapes and personal recollections. Reflecting on fragments of Hyde Park, captured during London walks, I recontextualize these memories through video and sound recordings, forging an artistic bridge between urban experiences and cherished moments.

My memories crystallized during city strolls near Hyde Park, not within its bounds. The name ‘Hyde Park’ became a vessel for preserving my city memories.
To realize this concept, I employed video snippets and sound recordings from London's streets, outside the park. This artistic endeavor fuses fragments of memory with urban landscapes, encapsulating an unspoken narrative.
As I navigate new creative avenues, ‘Hyde Park Corner’ explores how we remember and evoke a sense of place.
