‘are you going to take me home?’seeks to initiate a transformative conversation. It beckons readers to pause, reflect, and consider their potential roles as responsible pet owners. Through artful storytelling and evocative imagery, this project is a heartfelt plea to humanity to embrace the values of empathy, compassion, and accountability, thereby creating a brighter future for both animals and humans alike.

My artistic endeavor delves into a pressing global issue that plagues communities worldwide – the plight of stray animals. These vulnerable creatures, abandoned and left to fend for themselves, roam the streets, desperate for food and shelter. Tragically, their presence poses risks to both themselves and the humans they encounter, as they carry diseases and may exhibit aggressive behavior.
In my exploration, I have discovered that a significant number of stray animals are victims of human actions. Various reasons, such as encountering difficulties in pet care or underestimating the financial commitment, drive people to abandon their animals. The decision to discard these innocent lives is often made hastily, without fully grasping the responsibilities involved in caring for a living being.

This project aims to address this issue at its core. I am passionate about creating a book that serves as an essential guide for those contemplating animal adoption. Through poignant storytelling and vivid imagery, I will shed light on the challenges that come with raising animals, emphasizing the necessary extra expenses and the commitment required. The book will act as a bridge between potential pet owners and the reality of animal care, equipping them with crucial insights to make informed decisions.

The narrative will encourage readers to reflect on their readiness for the responsibility of pet ownership. By providing a comprehensive understanding of the troubles they may encounter, the book will challenge readers to think deeply about whether they possess the conditions and dedication needed to provide a loving and secure home for a furry companion.
